After 20+ years I’m hanging up my race boots, but I didn’t make the decision until I'd already prepared the car for the season, which means you get the benefit of a car you can race pretty much right away without having to do a bunch of work.
This is a non-sunroof sedan that appears (I'm the fourth owner) to have been built to the "Premium build" spec from BimmerWorld’s SE46 build sheet bar engine/trans oil coolers and some "personal preference" choices for things like the seat, steering wheel, fire system, etc. It has logbooks from NASA (2016), SCCA (2017), and ICSCC (2024). Odometer says 92585 miles.
