This 2018 Audi RS3 LMS is a factory-produced race car based on the road-going RS3 and built in compliance to the TCR race regulations. This example was acquired in 2022, which it was campaigned in the SCCA GT3 race class as well as the ST3 and ST2 classes of the NASA race series. That car won the NASA ST3 SoCal Championship in 2022 and qualified on pole and won the qualifying race for the NASA ST2 Championships in Utah in 2024. The 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four is linked to a six-speed DSG gearbox and an active VAQ limited-slip differential. The widened bodywork is wrapped in a black, silver, and red livery, and the car is outfitted with yellow headlights, a carbon-fiber rear wing, and a splitter. It rides on black 18″ multi-spoke alloy wheels and has ventilated disc brakes, front and rear anti-roll bars, McPherson front struts, a multi-link rear axle, and an air-jack system. The driver is provided a roof-mounted rescue hatch, a full roll cage, a Schroth safety net, a quick-release OMP steering wheel, an AIM video logging system, and a fire-suppression system, and the cabin has two bucket seats with multi-point safety harnesses. This Audi RS3 LMS is now offered on a bill of sale with owner manuals and a collection of spare parts including a replacement engine, 2 extra sets of wheels, rear wing, front splitter and turbos.
The LMS original race car utilized a turbocharged 2.0-liter EA888 inline-four in order to comply with the TCR race regulations. A larger Garrett 2260 turbocharger and a Mishimoto radiator were installed under current ownership, and the engine is transversely-mounted ahead of the front axle. The current engine was ordered new and installed in September 2024 and has seen approximately 2,600 kilometers (-1,600 miles) and 25 hours of use since installation.
This car, with its bigger turbo and bigger aero parts (front splitter and rear wing), is the fastest TCR car on the market. To prove it, it won 11 races in NASA and 5 other podiums during 2022 and 2024 seasons.
