For sale is my midnight blue 1999 NB Spec Miata, built in 2019 by Kyle Watkins of Sector Purple Racing. The car was used as a Spec Miata race car in NASA and SCCA for 2 seasons. I purchased it in 2021 and have used it exclusively for 3 years as an HPDE4 car. Unfortunately, due to a ski injury to my neck, I am no longer able to drive the car and it has been sitting in the garage longer than any race car should.
I am a motivated seller asking for $15,000 obo.
Car is located just south of Denver in Tech Center, garaged and well cared for. Starts right up and drives great even if it hasn't been at the track in a while.
Additional details about the car:
- Mechanically the car is in excellent condition and immediately ready to hit to track
- Engine was fully rebuilt by Sector Purple Racing in 2019
- Currently still on Koni shocks, so needs a Penske conversion to be Spec Miata compliant
- Seat, belts and fire system may need a refresh depending on intended use
- No rust on the car, paint is fine for a race car, but won't win any car shows
Extras:
- Two (2) sets of 15x7 Spec Miata wheels - one set with old "storage" tires and one set with Toyo RR 205/50R15
- One (1) set of lightweight 15x9 wheels with Toyo RR 225/45R15 - completely fresh, just a 5 lap scrub
