Item description:
Auto Boss RV in Mesa has been setting up motorhomes for flat towing since 1996, with over 1,000 installs done. Flat tow is what we’re known for, and every install is done in our shop, not in a driveway.
Packages start at $4,997 installed, parts, labor and tax included, with a portable braking system.
Most customers go with our complete package at $5,497, which uses Demco Stay-In-Play braking installed under the hood instead of a portable unit:
Blue Ox baseplate for your vehicle
Blue Ox Avail tow bar
Demco Stay-In-Play supplemental braking
Tow vehicle wiring, charge line and breakaway
Safety cables, locks and tow bar cover
Diesel pushers with air brakes get Demco Air Force One, $5,997 to $6,497 depending on what’s already on the coach. Demco and Roadmaster tow bars and baseplates are available on request, and we’ll match eTrailer pricing on parts.
We check your motorhome’s side of the setup as part of the job. The only thing that can be added after the quote is an adjustable hi/low hitch, $209.41 out the door, if it’s needed once both vehicles are here and measured. We stock them, so it never holds anything up.
Your tow vehicle has to be approved by the manufacturer for four-down towing. Send us the year, make and model and we’ll tell you what it takes.
We also do RV suspension upgrades for Ford F53, E350/E450 and Mercedes Sprinter chassis, solar and lithium systems, and EQ Systems hydraulic leveling jacks.
