Newly built in 2026. 800 miles on the clock. No leaks. 408 cubic inch Cleveland with hydraulic roller cam and aluminum heads. JE flattop pistons, 0.030 over. Block is a 1970 DOAE - J, January 29 casting, 2 bolt main out of a Cougar. Currently 11.3:1 compression that I estimate makes north of 550 horsepower (not dyno confirmed). It needs better than 93 octane to run well. I typically mix 2 gallons of Sunoco 110 with 10 gallons of 93. Total timing set at 26 currently. Would be a good candidate for E85.
Main bearing clearances are .0027 - 28. Rod clearances are .0020 - 21. Cold oil pressure 80+, warm idle 40 psi. Cruising oil pressure 60-65 psi down the highway. 180 degrees thermostat, motor has never seen higher than 195 stuck in traffic on a 97 degree day. Typically runs 185-187 down the highway.
I'll take serious buyer for a ride to demonstrate
