The Panoz Esperante GTS was originally built as a driver's class spec racer, meeting all of the IMSA/SCCA technical and safety requirements. This car is 1 of 12 Esperante race cars sold to the "Racing Experience" division of Penkse Motorsports for the Marlboro Experience ride-a-longs. This program was sponsored by Phillip Morris for the Marlboro Cigarette brand, where loyal customers could get a chance to ride along with an experienced race car driver. They were converted by Penske Motorsports from Ford engines to GM LS1s. Penske Motorsports used all of the best components available from Panoz Motorsports.
Engine/Transmission has about 450 track miles after rebuild.
New, front spindles, hubs bearings, calipers rebuilt/refinished.
Cooling: engine oil cooler, power steering cooler, transmission cooler, rear end oil cooler
