Looking for some serious power at a great price? Look no further! This 370ci boost-ready, cathedral port long block is designed to easily handle more than 1,000 hp. We are now offering this long block with high flowing, 13.5-degree valve angle, Brodix cathedral port, 6-bolt heads. Our process for machining these heads includes CNC porting and combustion chamber machining on our 5-axis with CNC valve job and bowl blend on our Newen CNC seat & guide machine (see Engine Machining playlist on our YouTube channel @borowskirace.com). The heads are assembled using custom Brodix stainless intake valves and Inconel exhaust valves with Manley NexTek valve springs.

The short block is a seasoned GM 6.0L block that we have re-machined on our CNCs to far tighter than the original GM tolerances. The piston rings and diamond CNC hone finish are boost-specific.
Boost requires more clamping force to both hold the heads down and keep the crank in place. Studs are far superior to bolts as fasteners for a variety of reasons. This long block is machined for ½ inch head studs with P1 Manufacturing’s E190 as standard. All else being equal, ½ inch studs achieve 40% more clamping force than 7/16” studs. The mains are upgraded with P1’s E190 main studs. P1 fasteners are 100% Made in USA using the latest machining technology.
This boost-ready build uses a forged Callies Compstar center-counterweighted crank for additional strength, stiffness and reduced harmonics. The crank is paired with Compstar Extreme rods. Diamond Race Series dish pistons (-2cc) complete the short block with a compression ratio that makes it pump gas friendly under boost on pump gas. Flat tops are available for running alcohol.
The COMP hydraulic roller cam is designed for boost and brings maintenance-free operation. Valve train stability is enhanced with the COMP BSR shaft rocker system.
The price includes everything as shown from oil pan to the lifter valley plate and GM valve covers. Upon request, we can do a break-in dyno with either our top end or ours.
