THere is NO proof on that reciept that anything was mailed to me. No name, no address, no zip, no description, no weight, no dimensions, nothing. Only my telephone # scribbled on the top.

You've been telling me for over 6 weeks that the greivance would be filed. Why isn't the PS 1000 postal form filled out completely? You said you would file a claim on September 29,2008. Sure doesn't look like it.

John, you fail to see the obvious that insurance is for you, not me. If parts get lost you refund the buyer then get compensated for the lost item with purchased insurance that I might add is DIRT cheap.

You got it stuck in your head that since you dropped it off at the PO, or your WIFE did, that you can wash your hands of all resposibility. YOU are responsible till it gets here, it did not.

I asked for the tracking # when it still had not arrived after 12 days, only to find out there wasn't one.

Enough of the 5th grade arguement that I have the parts. I have much better things to do with my time then collect this stinking $366.
For that matter how do I know that you don't have the part? You told me your return address was on the box. You also said that you regretted selling the part to me for agreed upon price and you HOPED to get it back!
If your packaging was as incompetant as your shipping it probably fell out of the box...

I did 2 things, negotiated a deal and sent payment. Now you make me out to be the crook.
As for ripoff artist, it can only be slander if its false.

This is where we are different, I would have returned that money promptly had I made the mistakes you made.

Just a note... The insurance will only refund a verifiable selling price plus the cost of the shipping minus the cost of the insurance. All the seller will recoup after refunding the buyers money is the cost of the shipping minus the cost of the insurance. You can buy $1,000.00 dollars worth of insurance, but you must show some type of receipt, so if you send a Paypal or Money Order for $366.00 the $366.00 is all that can be recouped...

I have the cancelled check and our recorded dialogue.

I NEVER claimed the package did not ship. It certainly could've been although that receipt is not worth the paper it's printed on.

My issue is that he thinks I should wait for HIS grievance to get paid. He hired the post office, not me. I assumed "ground" meant UPS. Now he claims he will only pay me what he gets back, if and when, that is wrong. He is the seller on record but will not take responsibility.

Had I known of such incompetance I would have issued a call tag via my UPS account and been done with it, live and learn I guess.

worth repeating. You insure a package for the sold /declared value. If it is lost you still lose but you only lose once...not twice. You have the responsibility to get them the package. I sold a crank for $900 bucks on EBAY last year and I was sweating bullets til the guy got it.

How would you even loose once? I assume you've got your money before shipping and if you insure package for its value than you get that back if lost. (Too return to buyer. ) I guess you loose the shipping cost but that is a small price to pay.

That is all well and good except John seems to think that he was doing me a favor shipping this item rather then fulfilling a responsibility.

Of course 3 weeks after he cashed my check he was still calling it HIS convertor. Not until it was definately lost did it become mine...

Notice he has no rebuttle for what seems to be common practice and simple common sense.

He said he would ship ground, not parcel post.
Had he spoken those words I assure you the brakes would've went on in a hurry.

thanks to those of you who prompted me to come here and try to air out the laundry. It is clear to me that Mr. Albarado does not care that he ripped me off and has no desire to refund my money. I knew this all along. He is also a LIAR as he told me for weeks that as 30 days expired he would file form PS1000 on September 29, 2008 and has not done so.
So John your not just a petty theif you are also a liar, congratulations. I hope God did not make many like you.

Mail fraud charges have been filed and I am completing Internet Fraud charges as we speak. I hope you are not a felon John, on probation or have any warrants for your arrest cause if you do it's bye bye time for a while...
