2017 Vintage Trailers Outlaw, model OL834GT37. All-aluminum enclosed gooseneck, 8.5 ft wide by 34 ft box, 24 in extra height (11 ft overall, about 52 ft with the truck). One owner, bought new. I have the original factory build sheet with this VIN on it.
This was ordered as a heavy-payload trailer, not a standard car hauler, and the build sheet documents it. Floor crossmembers and wall posts on 12 in centers instead of the 16 in centers that were standard on this model, and the axles upgraded from 5,200 lb to 7,000 lb each. Three axles, 21,000 lb GVWR, 7,206 lb factory ship weight.
The rear ramp door was ordered from the factory as a reinforced heavy-duty unit and was further reinforced in-house so heavy wheeled equipment can be driven straight in under its own power. A factory keyed hoist raises and lowers it, because once reinforced the door is too heavy to lift by hand. There is also a front-mounted 5,500 lb winch with a wireless remote for anything that will not drive itself all the way in, plus two transition flaps: one bridges the gap at the door, one reaches the ground for drive-on loading.
Spent its working life in film production hauling motorized camera crane bases. Loaded a few times a month, never raced, never on a construction site. It carried equipment where a failure on the road was not an option, so it was maintained accordingly.
