For Sale: Very nice and complete Big Block Chevy 396–502 B&M 174 polished Pro-Street supercharger package, ideal for a high-performance street/strip or pro-street build. This setup features a genuine polished B&M 174 roots-style supercharger that is fully Teflon-striped and in excellent condition. The rotors are very clean with no damage, and the Teflon stripping is intact and in great shape. The blower has just received a fresh oil change and is 100% ready to bolt on and run.
Included is the matching polished B&M aluminum intake manifold designed for BBC rectangle-port cylinder heads. The intake runners have received a mild port and polish for improved airflow and performance. This is the upgraded 10-rib drive system, not the standard setup, and includes the heavy-duty belt tensioner for improved belt control and reliability under boost.
The crank pulley is the highly desirable larger 7-inch high-performance version, paired with the smaller 2.86 upper pulley. This pulley combination was previously installed on a 454 BBC and was producing over 10 psi of boost. The drive system includes the original B&M belt as well as an upgraded Gates heavy-duty green belt. A polished billet aluminum 3-V accessory crank pulley is also included.
Fueling is handled by a nearly new ProForm 850 CFM double-pumper carburetor, which retails for around $800. The carb is equipped with an electric choke and includes an AN fuel line setup with an inline fuel pressure gauge already installed. A brand-new supercharger-to-intake manifold base gasket will be included as well.
Everything shown is included in the sale, and all components are in perfect working order. This is a clean, complete, and hard-to-find B&M 174 BBC blower kit that’s becoming increasingly rare, especially in this condition.
