For sale: This highly modified 2004 MAZDASPEED MIATA TURBO, expertly prepared by Jesse Prather Motorsports for competitive racing in NASA PTA where it, with Jeff Diffendorfer piloting, won the 2013 NASA Championships. After the 2013 Win Jeff got busy and put the car in storage. It was professionally stored in a climate-controlled facility from 2014 until we took it out in April 2025. We have gone through the car and serviced everything making it ready to go racing. The car will need new harness, updated fire suppression and new tires but can be ready within a day or so of your negotiated purchase.
This meticulously maintained road racing car is a winning combination of power and precision, featuring a professionally tuned Flyin' Miata FMII turbocharged engine that delivers 280 whp and 270 lb/ft of torque while maintaining reliability on the track. The engine is controlled by a TEC 3r Engine Management ECU and comes with a lap top and all the documentation. The lightweight chassis is enhanced with a custom AFCO racing shocks set to JPM specs for full race valving, upgraded Mazdaspeed big brakes with Hawk brake pads and front brake cooling ducts with adjustable rear brake bias and stainless brake lines throughout. The roll cage is 1.5 in. by .120 wall and is customized for optimal safety and handling. Its sleek aerodynamic body has been adorned with eye-catching wide body panels to accommodate the 275/35R15 Hoosier race tires and 949 Racing 6UL 15"X9" Alloy Wheels that reflect its racing pedigree. It does have an extra set of 15”X8” 949 Racing 6UL Alloy Wheels for rain tires. With a fully adjustable racing seat and harness, a full fire suppression system and many additional racing accessories this Miata is designed for serious drivers looking to dominate the competition.
