Ohio Sellers Not Honest?

Ok heres your positive- Bought a 69Z X33 car from a guy in selby ohio. decent guy and car was what he said it was and he even held it for me since I was driving out to take a look.
I did also however get ripped off by an ohio guy on my Corvette.
So i have a good and a bad.
My last two personal scammers came from Texas and Minnesota-
The thing is anyone you deal with could be rotten- you really have to get a ton of info on the person before you deal with them if you want to be safe- and thats still a hassle.
I tend to buy my stuff from parts houses or swap meets - easier that way.

Did you ever thing that maybe the Ohio-ans you are hoping for havent seen the thread yet?
You can make deragotory comments about the site or the forum users but this group is pretty damn charitable and invests a lot of time in helping people.
You kinda owe them an apology.

I did not make deragotory comments about the site or the forum users, JUST THREE. THEY STARTED BASHING INSTEAD OF TALKING ABOUT THE SUBJECT. THAT IS TRUE IGNORANCE!! I ASKED A GENERAL QUESTION FOR REAL ANSWERS, NOT TO BE BASHED. The topic of this thread is as ignorant as it gets. It is no different than if someone started a thread asking if anyone had ever met an honest white man with red hair. Judging someone's character based on what state they are from is as absurd as judging them based on race or hair color.

Anybody else notice almost all the guys who are starting trouble live in bordering Ohio states?? I have been cussed and threatened for asking if others have had bad or good dealings with Ohio people????THIS IS A JOKE!!!
