Thanks for the replies. A Paypal grievance was filed....said they could not recover the funds. I thought that paypal had access to users bank account information and could recover funds. I e-mailed them and told them I was not impressed with their lack of service. They e-mailed me back a generic survey to evaluate their service?

You need to call Paypal they have access to this guys accounts and thats why you use paypal its safe so people dont rip you off.

That is true as long as the account that backed up the paypal account is open/has funds in it. If the account is clsed, there is nothing for Paypal to get...
