[quote="labry33"]I wish I had read this negative posting before I delivered my car to Tootees. My car has been at his shop for 6 months now and yes I gave him a deposit. There is always something going on with them. I've only been able to see my car one time since dropping it off. They won't return my calls in a timely manner, just all the B.S. on a ongoing basis. There is more to the story. However, I am too mad at this time to discuss it. Let me put it this way. I was referred to RJ to check out Tootees and their scam by someone they know or use to know? All I want is my car finished so I can move on with my life. No referrals from me![/quote

Default Puzzeled?

If they only have 2 workers & one is sick & the other is caring for his sick wife why would they accept money from anyone knowing they cant complete the car? If things are that bad why not close the doors or take smaller projects? If someone has my $26,000 I dont want excuses,,I want what I paid for!! Just M Opinion..
Infact after reading these posts They may as well close their doors,,The racing Community is small when you screw people..

AMEN. I AGREE TOTALLY.

Bluearc: You either can deliver what you said you would do, or you can't. Excuses do not cut it... whatever they may be. You have a fiduciary responsibility to the CUSTOMER. if you can't deliver, DON'T DO TH JOB!!!!

You are sliding by the skin of your teeth & YOU KNOW IT!!!! You may be able to say you have been investigated, you run a good buisness, had problems, etc... it is because your getting by with a few legal loop-holes that allow you to barely slide by!!!!

How DARE you bring GOD into this mess!!!! If you were doing everything right; you name would not be here!!!! WE ALL GO THROUGH SOME HARD TIMES... YOU WANT SOME OF MINE?????? DO NOT HIDE BEHIND THE CREATOR OF THIS WORLD & ACT LIKE HE WILL BAIL YOU OUT OF YOUR OWN MESS AFTER TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO TRUSTED YOUR SKILLS. SHAME ON YOU FOR WHAT YOU SAID!!!!! YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF TO SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH & FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED.

Default Goddamn shame

There seems to be quite a few of these 'operations' that feel chassis money is free money.

Maybe they will build it, maybe not - like they are doing you a big favor !

I'm not so sure a large group of us shouldn't get togther and make it a mission to shut people like this down for good -

There has to be a way to put these folks behind bars where they belong.

Maybe time for some new legislation ?

Any information will help, but it needs to be more explicit than what has been written here! Write the exact facts or email me with them. I have the same profile name on RJ. Thanks and I am sorry anyone else went through the same fiasco I did!
