Not much Chevy oem on a 565 either, and not very many people running a stock displacement BBC 454. Big Daddy ran a Hemi Mopar with as many Mopar parts as a lot of superpro racers have Chevy parts now. Hemi is still all that and a bag of chips.......sorry.

I do believe the top fuel hemi's are based on the 426, today's top fuel hemi is still the same design as the 426, Can anyone tell us what the correct cubic inches is for a top fuel hemi :?: I know the answer :!: A friend of mine has a old top fuel car in his garage, complete car :!: No cheating now on the answer :!: Parts on today's top fuel hemi is still interchangeable :!: If you can afford them :!: :!:

No they did not sell the right's, dodge is coming out with a 426 next year in the challenger,Keith black got permission from chrysler in 1967 to clone the engine, he then started making alunium blocks, made them stronger to make HP , other engine builders followed keith black in this process! So what is the correct cubic inches for todays hemi in a top fuel :?: :?: The most HP from a orginal 426 was around 2500 with blower,Don garlits in swamp rat 3 was pushing almost 3000 in factory block :!: :!:
