Nothing has to be done to run solid roller lifters, you just leave out the hydaulic roller trey. Most of the cam companies make lifters for the gen 6 conversion, the tie bar may be a little taller but i'm not sure. Ofcourse you have to buy a solid roller cam for the gen 6 block, they are different than a gen 4 cam.
