something else I have seen is some tranny coolers are mounted way higher than the tranny itself, after its sits over time the fluid wants to run back into the tranny sometime overflowing out the nearest opening it can find. I had this problem on another car I had, the tranny cooler was mounted high on the radiator support almost even with the top of the radiator, it would leave a puddle after it sat for a few days. I bought a smaller cooler and moved it down low and never had the problem again.
