I can be pain in the butt sometimes and people think I can't make up my mind. Not true. I always have to know the whole story, both sides of the story, and a witness to what happened.
Tell 4 guys the same story and have them tell it to 4 guys. It's amazing how everyone's
perception is different from the same story.
95% of the time, it is just a mistake and it can be fixed by talking about the issue.
You may have jumped to conclusions, but you did the right thing before it went any further.
