Darrell,
I feel your pain man! That is how I felt when the guy in NC with the ChevyII stuck it to me last week. What makes you look bad is the way you respond to folks opinions, just because you don't like them is no reason to be defensive. I agree that the tbucket guy looks bad not responding to this thread, I agree I would be pissed about my $350. I also know that you seem to be trying to impress upon us your good character(which I do not doubt) ie: The family man, the provider, the e-bay man, etc etc. My point is , you don't have to hammer away at folks in here to get them to understand or believe, saying too much is as bad as saying nothing sometimes. There are a bunch of sharp knives in the drawer here, I do believe you to be included.
I find it hard to believe that if he was scamming you he would have paid the $350 to the driver, that is a sticking point to me. I suspect the car got there and he thought your car wasn't as nice as his.......I am not saying it is or isn't, I haven't seen either. Possibly he had a cash buyer in the last minutes. Maybe the motor was blown, who knows........
Anyway, hope it all shakes out for you in the future. I learned my "no see" trade lesson from Keith aka traderguy out of Ashland, Ky. I am old school, but I also know the old school ways are pretty much gone unless your deal is local.
BTW, why do you want to f#%^ me and the horse I rode in on? ops:
Good luck, another btw....You have some damn nice cars in your profile.
