Over 40 yrs ago i had a blown gas sm/blk, i had a delta welded 350 steel crank to a 3 5/8" stroke (365"s) i put 200/300 passes on the 671 blown Hilborn inj. engine, ran low 10.'s @ over 140mph ran the car from 1964 to 1970. Never an issue with the crank, it was welded and hard cromed. Went thru 3 blks, even ran the same set of alum rods. Car weighed 2450lbs per class rule Amod/sports and B/GS. Pretty good for the day and times of yesteryear.
