using less gas with bigger carb.
Changed to a Pro Systems dominator carb at the beginning of the year. Carb works great. Fuel pump was a holley blue pump that was changed to a Holley 150 HP pump after running it for a couple of races with the Blue pump. Car now uses less gas than with the bluepump and the 850 demon that was on it. Before it would use about 2 gallons for 3 passes and now about maybe 1. 1/2 in fuel line. pressure set at 7psi idling. 14ga wire thru a relay. Good for the pocket book but I'm afraid the motor is leaning out. Hard to read the plugs with unleaded pump gas.Any ideas?? Thanks :?
