I've yet to try and lower mine any, I was happy on the dyno so I didnt mess with it. Ran it there last year also. You may try going a few and see what it does.
I remember my 468 a few years back @ 39 degrees ran 8.40's, I decided to go 33 with it ran 8.20's. Slapped a different intake on it and moved it to 32 and it ran 8.0's, not to shabby for $1500 short block, in a 2010lb car
