Got hit by scammer!!! Be alert
Got hit by a scammer! Was contacted via text message. b
Buyer agreed to pay for car, and pay with certified check. When the check got here it was for $4000.00 more than the asking price. I contacted him via text ( would not answer phone), was told that was to pay the shipper.
Waited for check to clear completely, He was very pushy to hurry and get a wire transfer completed, luckily the bank teller saw the red flags that I stupidly overlooked, and reported it as fraud, before sending the wire transfer. Please be vigilant ladies and gentlemen.
