Oliver makes a 6.635 rod that will easily handle that power level,we have several engines making over 2000 with that rod and no problems in 4 years . you will need to deck your block to get the correct deck height. we also use Crower billet rod for that application. H beam rods are not as good because the beam thickness doesn't give you enough side to side strength.Bill Bill
