I use ARP 2000 rod bolts in my blown alky SBC and it is estimated at over 1600 hp and I have never had a problem with them,I use eagle H beam rods also.I see you are using MLS head Gaskets,they work fine,but when you do a freshen up on the motor,I would oring the block and put a receiver groove in the head and use copper head gaskets,I have had very good luck with doing this on high HP motors.
