I've been around high-performance boats all my life. My dad was into dragboats in the 70's and early 80's, but he always ran jetboats. That's where I got my start but finally made the switch to a v-drive. It takes a lot of power to make a jetboat go fast.

The big boats are cool too, but I'm more into the dragboats. I've seen quite a few of the MTI's down at the Shootout at LOTO...we always stay at the same condo with Randy and all the MTI guys. The Bat Boat MTI is absolutely amazing, and so is Speed Racer! Those guys at SuperCat Rigging sure come up with some great ideas. I'm a big fan of the Eliminator Daytonas too. We have a 27' and a 30' we're trying to sell...they're solid 115mph boats.

But anyway, thanks for all of the input on cylinder heads. We're done racing now (except for World Finals in Phoenix in November) until the spring, so the off-season will be devoted to putting the new piece together...making the switch from twin Dominators and Nitrous to blown and injected on alcohol.
