Hi all,
I really don't have problems with customers watching me. Takes me longer to do this because of explaining but I love helping people and I guess I also love to teach but I am like most of you I am human and as a fellow member of the Humanoids. I can at times do some really stupid things. I can also make mistakes. I do my level best not to but I know I am not perfect. I am probably more meticoulas at just about anything I do than most people anyone knows but I have to be certain in my own mind that each job I do is my best. I have a pet expression that some of my friends don;'t like. The expression is this "It is either right or it is wrong. Good enough doesn't cut it with me"

I know I end up coming across on these boards like a know it all. I apologise to you all for that. I am 62 years old and re-built my first engine when I was 15 years old. I have been working on Hot Rods of my own and of friends since 1960. I have been in several different forms of the performance industry including Car Stereo at the highest levels at one time or another. I built and owned a Championship Car Stereo car that had to compete only against other professionals in the same inductry becuase it was a Pro Category car. I won a few events with it and placed in the top five at every event I attended except one. I also receieved some second and a few third place wins.

I went back to buildng engnes and doing performance work in 1994 and have been oficially in business since. I own and had a full 16 ft chassis jig for constructing new cars from scratch from the ground up beginning with some pieces of tubing. Currently my jig is in HOuston at a friend's chassis shop being rented by him from me.

Beats me how I got started on this tangent.
Anyway, I have no problem with being watched by customers and them asking questions. I guess too many of my customers end up as friends. At least that is what neighbors tell me. I just like people though.
