Thanks for the plug. I do not come here soliciting business. Of course I do appreciate it when I am referred or asked but I really do my best to not toot my own horn until after someone is my customer. I can build him something decent though in the price range he is now looking at. I could also build something a little lower for a little less money too. That 427 another memebris selling looks like the best bang for the buck though.

I have no way to know, but AI am guessing that he is guessing about his horsepower and is basing that off of what an engine builder told him he would have if they bought a complete engine from them. Looks to me that he took their guess and becuase he is making everything on top to be bigger is maybe making his own guess. I am also guessing

He said he did that engine for a truck. He is lucky he did not install it. That engine in a heavy truck would have been a dog. In a lighter vehicle it might be nice.
