Build or Buy an already built Fox Body Drag Car??
 

Hello,

Looking for some advice from some guys who have knowledge on costs of building a nice Fox Body Drag car that will run a 9 sec-10 sec 1/4 mile and still be street legal.
Should I buy a used stock Fox Body and build it over the next yr or should I just buy an already built used one?
Ive been doing the math and see the good and bad side to both. Figured someone would have some real life experience?

If you look you will save money buying something already built. That being said, make sure it is exactly what and how you want it. If you start making it over, you won't save anything. Make sure you see it run at the track, not a video of how it ran once. JMO.

Either a running car or a roller with a cage and chassis already set up(certified )that way you can pick the drive train.
