Finally got to race...
 

I've been crewing on a Mountain Motor Pro Stock last year and this year. I was able to get my Cavalier out last weekend. I went to National Trail Raceway for a Jegs 2 day race weekend which also included a VP fuel Super 32 class. I was #17 qualifier with 5.561. But I was able to make the show as an alternate. I ended up winning the door car side of the ladder and runner up over all. I was -.003 red in the final. I didn't make the field on Sunday, I was #19. I put my annular Quick Fuel carb on and bumped up my shift point from 7400 to 7600 and ran my best of a 5.525 but wasn't quick enough. The bump on Sunday was a 5.38. So I ran in the Super Pro and went 3 rounds. Had a great time.

Good deal. That's what it's all about, having a good time. Going rounds just sweetens the pot a little.

x2. Good to hear you got out there. To many times we hear fellow racers throwing in the towel these days due to financial reasons. Not a bad weekend!!

Around here its been raining almost every weekend, some of my drag racing buddies are in a funk. Same with the dirt track guys, last 7 weekends they have only managed to run 2 races.

Thanks guys for all the good comments. Now I'm off to Virginia Motorsports Park for our next ADRL event.
