292H camshaft ?
Will this cam cause issues with power brakes without a canister?
Thanks in advance... |
brakes will be soft and wont stop very good but you might get by without a canister
|
It'll be softer, but it will not be so bad. It will stop good. Not so bad that like its going to be a runaway freight train. I have a solid 314/318 540/585 on a 108icl 112 lobe sep. I drive this SBC 400 on a daily basis in a C10 Blazer with a 6 speed. 3.73 rear eaton limited slip. The pedal is soft but not that bad I'm not running a vacuum canister.

CBTLR,
I ran this cam back in 1979 in my 67 RS -it was known as CCH-292. Great cam -No brake issues and it pulled hard to 7000 RPMs with Torker Intake, 300 hp heads, 327 flat top Won a lot of races back then |
