Anybody heading to Joliet for the NHRA races this weekend?
 

Any of the Illinois boyz on here heading to Joliet this weekend? For the 1st time in 11 years I will actually be able to kick back and watch racing since I wont be workin the DRAW auction. They moved it to Englishtown this year so I get a break. I will post up some pics as I get them. Got some hospitality passes to Schumachers pits on Sunday. Not a huge fan but they usually cook ribeyes and you get to be up pretty close when they fire up his dragster!

Leaving Wi, tomorrow morning at 6:30am. Little lunch at the Emperess Casino and to the track by 2:00.Looking forward to $7 beers and nitro!!!!!!!

Wow, its hot here! Track temp was 131 degrees around 4pm. Can't wait till the night qualifier.

did they change the rules allowing small coolers in this year??

I dont think so Mike, they even took my wifes sunblock out of her backpack and made her leave it at the gate :evil:

it was a great day out there today....last year I forgot to take my leatherman off my belt...lost that one :evil: live & learn :roll:..took the sunblock :? what did they think she was gonna do with that..squirt someone in the eye with it?? :roll:
