I bought a BBC 502 Block from a guy in N C advertised as a Fresh from the machine shop & ready to assemble..(Ad 2217756)Fact of the matter is its not a 502 which has a bore size of 4.47 this bore is 4.55...Needless to say a 502 Piston rolls around in the hole! I asked him several times About it being a std bore because I had just purchased an almost new 502 Rotating assy.He assured me it was A std 502 fresh from the machineshop & ready to assemble..I gave him $1000 for it & split shipping(another $100).I have Tryed contacting him several times & left him messages & an Email but so far no response..I didnt have any problem getting him before the deal was closed?? Im hopeing he responds & makes this deal good,the block is junk to me.. The ad says it all 502...

I think you have been had in a bad way. I sent him a message, lets see if he replies but I bet he dont... :evil:

. was going to suggest sleeves if you got stuck with the block . would have to check with BBC engine builders to see if block can handle another 3/32" bore. That will give a clean stock bore
