i have a 1969 boss 302 and i need to put 55mm cam roller bearing for the cam can u put 55 mm cam bearing

We have machined alot of the SMF"s for 55MM cams and have been using GMP55-T as you only have bore the cam tunnel to 2.283 and using a roller cam bearing you have to bore housing bores to 2.477 and on some of the Ford blocks you can't bore the rear jounal that big and that one is cut to 2.283
