Good quality headers or not?

I found a set local for $300. New, used for display model according to seller. Would like to put them on my '68 Nova, stock body. Any and all responses are appreciated!

Why not go ahead and get full length headers?

IMO> You'd probably be better off with stock manifolds than those shorty block huggers.

I have no particular reason for the shorties, I have never used any before. I was thinking about trying a set, but if you guys think I should pass.......Then I am.
I can't afford Kooks or Lemons, anyone have any other suggestions for full length coated headers?

Thanks

Anything coated is gonna be spendy. Those block huggers ARE better than stock cast iron for regular street duty but NOT recommended if your gonna be racing MORE than street use. Also the shorties will be a bunch quieter than full length if that is an issue.
