ROLLER LIFTER LINK BAR BROKE COMP CAMS
 

ANYONE HAVE A COMP CAMS ROLLER LIFTER LINK BAR BREAK .MINE DID TODAY ON MY 406 SBC THE TWO LIFTERS AND THE CAM ARE NOW JUNK ONLY 75 MILES ON IT :cry:

Sorry to hear that, I just seen another set do it last weekend in a big block.

I refuse to use them now for about 5 yrs and can get them for free. Morel and forget it.

Happened to me on a BC a few years ago...I don't know if the link bar broke first or if it broke after the roller busted in half...but I do know it ruined my entire engine...including the block.

I think Comps link bars are a little thin and they are not stainless which would be a tougher mat'l.

new cam ordered and it is not a comp cam this is the second time I have had a problem with there product had enough . :evil:

Installed the new howardcam and lifters custom grind shaft makes great power much better looking lifters than the comps very happy with there parts and service. :D
