DOES IT MATTER WHERE THE VALVE COVER PART GOES FRONT OR BACK OR 1 FRONT AND 1 BACK OF COVER.

I've seen them both in the front, both in the back, and a friend of mine has a BBC with one front and one back...so I don't think it matters. Just be sure to use the grommets with the baffles in them. JMO
