late shifting th 350
 

th 350 shifts late from1rst to 2nd when i shift the shifter at 7200 it goes to 8000 rpm befoe it shifts tranny shifts very good otherwise...tranny is manual transgo kit any help would be appr

I'm no tranny expert by any means but it sounds like a sticking valve or clutch pack piston/servo or something.


Does it shift right away at lower speeds during normal driving or, is this only a WOT problem?

Might help clue in the real tranny gurus on whats exactly wrong with it.

Could it be a a vacuum issue? Does it have a modulator on it?
