sbc shaft rockers

Yes i know jesel/t&d are top shelf, is there anything else anyone would recommend as a tight budget shaft rocker with a .220 offset.
So what's the difference between j/t's sportsman and j&t's comps. These are going on a bowtie headed chevy v6, can anyone give me stud spacings on std v8 and 40/60s as i think mine are close to 40/60s as i can modify holes to fit

Have you looked into the Yella Terra rocker system?

The std. stud spacing on a sm/blk chevy between the pairs is 1.773, comp cams now has a shaft rocker system a little cheaper than Jessel and T&D, i personally T&D because of their service, when you talk to them you get real people who know their product and will help in any way possible.

I looked at yella terra's, they don't look very rigid with there stud type mounting.

As i'm in australia it's hard to call but i've emailed t&d with no reply yet.

Can anyone see a problem if i use a v8 set and modify the mounting holes( 0.020-0.030), would i be able to centre the rocker over the valve.

You would have to elongate both the mounting holes and the c'bore since the bolts are counter sunk into the mounting base. But could be easily done with a vertical milling machine.

Yeh Zip, that's how i was going to do it.

Anyone on here a jesel/t&d dealer or have a set willing to ship down under.
