updated 15* and 13* SBC heads
Hey gang,
been a while since I've been around, .. been busy working on ports and cnc programs. I'd like to share a few things with you, .. I just did a total re-work on my 15* small block Chevy head, .. new ports and chamber, .. flows in the 390 to 400cfm range depending on valve size and application, .. makes killer power. It uses standard 18* cast manifolds and shaft rockers. We are using HIP processed castings for a stronger then cast cylinder head. http://raceflowdevelopment.com/RFD-h...ck-monster.htm The real killer is the new 13* stuff, .. We now have 5 different ports for this casting, .. and have a new version designed for big inch small block Chevy's at 440+ CI. It's a 320cc port that flows well over 440cfm with a 2.23" valve and can support 1000 HP. We use either custom built cast manifolds with custom adapters or sheetmetal intakes. http://raceflowdevelopment.com/RFD-h...odixGB2000.htm http://raceflowdevelopment.com/image...ds/gb/gb23.jpg Curtis |
Nice flow #'s on those 13* heads, does the intake side support 18* intake manifold? I'm not much on carbs, and i know that Kinsler makes a stacks injection for the 18* heads. I talked to Brodix a couple weeks ago and they told me the exhaust side in milled at 55* just like a 23* head.
Thanks in advance Zip. |
:D :D Nice numbers Curtis.....you're the Man..

Thanks in advance Zip. and we use custom built cast manifolds from Wilson if it's a Dirt car. The 15* head uses the 18* manifolds and rockers, . curtis |
