how to build alcohol motors?
 
wanting to build blown alcohol motor needind to know how if there is any books on it or just some friendly advice or any information thank you

Stick with about 11.5-1 compression and I'd also recommend a custom grind cam, something with 112-114 lsa. Depending on how much boost you are planning on running may want to use aluminum rods, definately a forged crank possibly billet depending on hp and intended use. Also a blower piston is a must and of couse a good block with 4 bolt mains, splayed is preferred. I'm in the process of building a 572 Ford, blown alcohol, takes a lot of research to make sure it is going to live. You can find alot of info at www.insidetopalcohol.com. Chris
