powerglide moving slieghtly forward during rev up?
 

i have atci trans with a 9.5 inch 4500 convertor and it moves about 1/2 inch to two inched forward when i rev it in park. it also rotates tires about half a turn when it is lifted off ground so tires can spin . any thoughts would be greatful. thank you

take it out and have a trans guy tear it down.

Mine sometimes moves like that when I fire it up. Scared me the first time it did it.

If it is a glide I think it will be fine. My glide rocks as I rev it in park always has.

Yeah mine does too, I have had a bunch of glides and I bet half of em have...

well today i got to let it off the stands and started it . it would roll forward everytime is rev it over 2500 about 2 inches. i went undernieth and re adjusted my linkage and problem solved. it most of been tweaked during engine swap. anyway thanks for your advise guys

Mine has never done that... :?
