whats the deal with brodix's advertising?
they advertise on paper for having the strongest castings in the business.
down the page they say these heads are not for supercharged applications> Does that mean that the darts and afr heads are stronger. At least afr advertises thick decks for turbo and supercharger applications. '']] whats the deal on the brodix. Are they a weaker casting or not? |
not sure on the brodix but the weakest casting i've seen/used is afr
|
yea even worse is brodix came out with the "jesse james" edition,
i did not know that mr james was a head guru, or he just wants heads to make him go fast, with my "jesse james tool box" (the box is lower to the ground with big rims) and make better welds with my "jesse james welder", tell me you bought this stuff, and i'll eat my shoe w/o cooking it 8) |

the paper work that came with brodix -3 extra oval port. Ive seen the same paper work on a set of -2 plus heads.

brodix flat out lies more in their advertising then any other company, ..
makes me sick, .. w |
All cnc and porting (max) being equal, which are the better heads. (18*, 14* or 12* for a 632, 14.5+ compression no nos, is what i'm building)
dart, pro-filer, brodix or XXX??? Thanks |
hey rabbit that question might be a great question on its own posting!!!
through the years ive seen more people bash brodix heads than others!it seems like their stuff is a lower bang for the buck in compared to the other manufacturers.it seems like afr is pretty high on the list of best product line and their pricing isnt too expensive. im curious to hear about peoples experiences with canfield, trickflow and holley heads....kinda like to hear about those off the beaten path heads... |
has anyone here ever compared brodix flow numbers to real flow bench to see just how they compared?

rabbit, .. for an all out 632" I'd use the Dart 11* casting with a custom valve location. The version I do uses a 2.52" intake valve and flows 575+ @ 1" and makes 1300+ hp, .. has set records in the UK, and was on the fastest N/A top dragster at a recent IHRA divisional. curtis |
