I have several old 283 blocks in the barn. I will check numbers to see if the're what your looking for.

I don't have one out of a vete but I have 283 complete air cleaner to oil pan..still has all the pulleys, belts brackets,chevrolet valve covers, exhaust manifolds etc that came out of a 67 el camino. It ran when removed but smoked ...been sitting in my way for 8 or 10 years. Also have a .040 over block and crank in barn...not sure of year and casting numbers but will check.

I thought those things ranked right up there with 305's. :lol: .. good for nothing but making a correl reef for some fish.
