which head ?
I have a 350 .060 over in a street car i would like to foot brake from time to time i have 882 heads with 202-160 valves and 72cc chambers. I also have some 354434 heads that has stock small valves but 60cc chambers. Do i go with air flow or compression ratio?

I would go with the 882 heads, just make sure you check them really good, they are crack prone, you can also mill those heads down to 64cc chambers to get your compression up a little more.
What cam you going to use ? |

which head ?
hydraulic cam. do you thank this is good combo? What makes the 882 so great? the valve sizes.

the 882 has a pretty decent flow number for a stock head, nothing to brag about, but is better than the other heads.
About 2 years ago Chevy high performance did a stud on a bunch of gm heads, and this one was one of the better ones. Unless you go aftermarket, you will not see a huge power change. |
which head ?
