BEARING CLEARANCE

On a 620ci. chevy (4.750 stroke steel rods and 4.560 bore ) would you shoot for .003 or .004 rod and main bearing clearance.Max rpm on this engine will be 6500.Thanks

I would shoot for .003 plus or minus .0003 on rods and .0035 on mains plus or minus .0003 as well. You can use a half a set of .001 under or over to get your clearance close if needed.
