WHERE TO LOOK CASTING NUMBERS UP OFF OF REAR END CARRIER

I have a posi traction rear end unit that i don't know what it came out of.Is there somewhere that i can look the numbers up.It is a G.M. unit.

it is according to what rear end it is..if you could post pic of it someone could be more able to tell you what you have
