Adjustible Rear Trailing Arms Question Whats This Part
 

I have a Chevelle , I was looking a Hotchkis set and they have a what they call a stabilizer bars. My Question is what do they do and are they better to use.They come with the lower arms and upper and the Stablizer bars.
