Responded to the inquiry messages with coherent machine shop data and information about the block. Talked via text a few days, seemed like a normal guy. Did not fit the normal scam identity problems at all. Made a few shipping truck freight requests and got one back that was reasonable. I took the "No PayPal fees and BS hold ups" conversation thinking the same way and made it clear I would not pay in full ahead without making a deposit and then when the truck arrives he sends pics of the box loaded on the truck then WOULD PAY THE REST OF THE MONEY - He agreed, gave me his wifes bank account data, which seemed not too out of the ordinary. I wired 50% deposit money with ACH from my bank. Trucking company called me and said they could not get ahold of him. Put the pickup on hold.
HE CLAIMS HE HAD AN EMERGENCY AND LEFT IT WITH HIS WIFE WHO LOADED IT UP AND SENT THE BLOCK. I said where is the pics ??? Need proof he sent the block and cannot make any shipping insurance claim without pre-delivery pics, He says he will get them and now the line is dead for 2 days...He stopped answering his phone.
