how fast
1 have 406 with 13 to 1 light weight pistons roller 618 lift bowtie ported 205 alum heads.hvh brodix intake.turbo 400 with a break 5000 stall. 430 gears 31-14-15 in a 2950 car..just trying to get a ball park figure on how fast it should run??thanks for the feed back :roll:

im gonna guess 10.50's to 10.60's

Where will you be running at? World of difference running at sea level or racing in the clouds at Denver. I would say you are a 10.80 player give or take a .15 depending on your elevation.

what size tire do you think would work best or what gear should i go to?if i can get 10.30cto 10.50 out of it ill be happy for the money i have into it.?thanks for everyones come back.i have been out of racing for 12yrs and just trying to get everything built back up.

I HAVE A BIT BIGGER CAM AND 210 HEADS IN MY MONTE CARLO IT WEIGHS 3150 WITH ME IN IT. I RUN 28X9X15 INCH SLICKS AND A 4.56 GEAR,8 INCH CONVERTER AND RUN 10.20'S ON MOTOR.I HAD A NEW CAM GROUND FOR MY MOTOR AND IM HOPEING FOR 10.00'S OR A HIGH 9,WE SHALL SEE WHEN THE TRACK OPENS UP THIS MARCH.

don't go changing anything until you run the car and see what rpm it goes thru the traps.. I mean 7/8 consistant passes so you know for sure what its turning thru the traps..then come back to the drawing board. ohh yeah..."ONE CHANGE AT A TIME"...then back to the track...then repeat as needed... :D...... |
